Procedure |
After you and the dentist discuss that Invisalign is the right treatment for you, an appointment will be made to have digital impressions taken with our state of the art Itero computer. The lab will receive the digital scans, input it in their system and create a series of clear trays. The Invisalign lab takes about 2 to
3 weeks to send us your trays. At that time you will be called to make an appointment and have the trays delivered to you. The number of trays that you will have and the length of your treatment will depend on the amount of movement necessary. Invisalign can be completed in as little as 6 months or as long as 2 years. Directions must be followed exactly and worn every day for at least
22 hours. Invisalign is removed only for eating and then placed back on the teeth to ensure that the teeth move as quickly as possible. After |
Upon completion of the Invisalign process, you will have a beautiful new smile to show to the world. A retainer will need to be worn during sleep so that the teeth can be kept in place. Permanent retainers might be suggested in some cases. This will ensure that the results will last forever.

What to Expect |
The Invisalign trays should almost never be taken out. Only while eating should they be removed. This means that twenty-two out of the twenty-four hours of every day, the trays will be working to straighten and realign your teeth. After meals, brush with a soft bristle tooth brush, then immediately insert the trays back into
the mouth. With Invisalign there is only very slight discomfort. One thing is for sure, these are a much better option than normal braces. Since you are able to take it out to eat and clean, it is a lot easier to manage.
